The German Society Industrial Cell Technology is a non-profit scientific society. Its members are scientists, engineers, institutes, companies and organizations.

The central aim of the Society Industrial Cell Technology is to promote the name-giving platform technologies of industrial cell technologies. To be more precise, it's about the development of, e.g.:

• complex cell culture systems
• analyzing technologies
• innovative instruments and materials

The founders of the Society organize the annual Congress Industrial Cell Technology, being a forum for applications across faculties, e.g. biomedical research, medical engineering, regenerative medicine as well as food technology and marine biotechnology.
